I did have Conexant driver speakers on my laptop. I have searched for a device driver updates, but have not had any luck. After going into Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Device Manager, Sound, video and game controllers, under that is High Definition Audio Device with a yellow triangle and '!' After right clicking and updating driver, it says the driver is up-to-date. Also, the error code says that this device cannot start (Code 10) Also, this seems to be a driver from Microsoft when the original driver was from Toshiba/Conexant. Toshiba does not currently have a Windows 7 audio driver for my particular Satellite laptop. Since it is an older one, they may not come out with an updated driver. But, since the Vista audio driver download works, it is now a non-issue.
